"I'm what the world considers to be a phenomenally successful man. And I've failed much more than I've succeeded. And each time I fail, I get my people together, and I say, "Where are we going?" And it starts to get better." - Calvin Trager
Sunday, June 20, 2004 Here is the school I wrote about yesterday that is sitting unused because of an unresolved conflict between the Liberians (who are about 93% of the camp's population) and the resident Ghanians over whom should be allowed to be students at the school. It's simply one of the nicest buildings I've seen since I've been here (admittedly, partly because it has been unused) - what a waste. | Mike at 6/20/2004 11:39:00 AM

"Christ's example is being
demeaned by the church if they ignore the new leprosy,
which is AIDS. The church is the sleeping giant here.
If it wakes up to what's really going on in the rest
of the world, it has a real role to play. If it doesn't,
it will be irrelevant."
