"I'm what the world considers to be a phenomenally successful man. And I've failed much more than I've succeeded. And each time I fail, I get my people together, and I say, "Where are we going?" And it starts to get better." - Calvin Trager
This afternoon, we head off to Sudan until April 6. I'll try to post something from Nairobi, but can't guarantee anything. Lots of stories and pictures when I get back.
Thanks to all of you who have supported us on this trip. It's exciting to think we'll be in Kenya in two days and Lui in three. Please keep us all in your prayers.
Here's the itinerary (as far as I know it):
Monday, March 28 Leave St. Louis - 1:30 pm
Tuesday, March 29 Arrive Nairobi - 8:10 pm
Spend night at Methodist Guest House, Oloitokitok Road, Lavington Green, Nairobi, Kenya.
Wednesday, March 30 Leave Nairobi for Lui
Wednesday night, March 30 – Monday, April 4 In Lui, Sudan

"Christ's example is being
demeaned by the church if they ignore the new leprosy,
which is AIDS. The church is the sleeping giant here.
If it wakes up to what's really going on in the rest
of the world, it has a real role to play. If it doesn't,
it will be irrelevant."
- Bono
